Senior Analyst/Manager - Tax - Investment Management Firm

We are looking for a Senior Analyst - Manager for our Client -DE Shaw based in Hyderabad.

- The group files quarterly and annual tax returns with the Internal Revenue Service and appropriate state tax authorities, issues annual K-1/PFIC statements and quarterly tax estimate statements to investors and generates and analyses tax reports that involve detailed instrument-level analysis as per U.S. tax laws.

- The group also supports the tax planning team on trading-related tax compliance reports.

- The role requires close interaction with various internal groups such as Financial Accounting and Regulatory Reporting, Trade Accounting and Operations among others; and externally with our tax advisors/attorneys.

- The ideal candidate will be a post-graduate (Management or Commerce) or a C.A. having 3 to 7 years of work experience in U.S. Hedge Fund Taxation which includes preparation of tax work papers, K-1s (Investor Tax Statements) and U.S.

- Federal & State tax returns for Partnerships & Corporations. Being a self-starter with strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines is a pre-requisite. Additionally, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential along with a good understanding of financial instruments.
