Senior Analyst/Assistant Manager - UK VAT Tax - BFSI

Roles & Responsibilities:-

Preparation of monthly UK/European country VAT working files and returns

Run queries in People soft and draw reconciliation of input and output VAT

String understanding of EU reverse charges rules

Monthly VAT expense analysis and reconcile numbers with GL

Draw analytics for any movement in VAT numbers

Review AR invoices and provide VAT guideline

Build additional controls to streamline and efficient VAT process

Key Skills: Mandatory Desired Domain:

Chartered Accountant with excellent communication skills - Oral and Written

Ability to train/mentor staff by providing challenging yet a friendly environment

2 to 4 years- experience in tax, some level of knowledge of accounting and Financial Services

UK VAT/Indian GST experience is preferable Technical

Should have working knowledge of PeopleSoft with respect to running various queries from the financials

Strong analytical and interpretation.
