Senior Analyst/Assistant Manager - EMEA Legal Entity Control - CA

Team Overview:

Financial Control team is setup as an extension of the Financial and Regulatory Reporting team across regions and provides Analytical and Quantitative support to the onshore team. Some of the key focus areas for the team include Preparation of Financial Statements under local and US GAAP; Regulatory Reporting and Group Consolidation

Mandatory skills:

Chartered Accountants, Working knowledge of US GAAP and specific experience into Consolidation

Role & Responsibilities of the position in brief:

- Legal entity controllership of broker dealer entities which includes month end reporting and preparation of schedules for consolidation & Intercompany Reporting & support GL close for Local GAAP & US GAAP

- Ensuring Financial statements are complete, accurate & prepared in a timely manner and are in accordance with applicable GAAPs

- Responsible for entity consolidation along with financial disclosures for quarterly & annual filings to various regulators under US GAAP.

- Responsible for stabilizing & financial reporting migrations,

- Regional Consideration - Driving standardization of process over time from Mumbai, Process efficiency and ensuring focus on added value work.

- Liaising with the regional Controllers. Having an understanding of financial reporting process.

- Needs to understand the Business and Structure of the Legal Entities assigned.

- Ownership of key controls supporting the General Ledger and other reporting applications including managing the SOX compliance

Skills:

C.A 4+ years of Post qualification experience in Audit / Financial Services / Banking or other Industry.

- Should have strong analytical skills to be able to understand business & structure of the Legal Entities assigned to produce variance analysis for movements in financial statements.

- Knowledge of USGAAP Reporting

- Strong ability to communicate in English with all Regions.

- Self starter, problem solver and ability to work with minimal supervision.

- Must be able to work well and complete tasks under tight deadlines depending on Regional requirements

Shift - 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM
