SUMMARY OF THE JOB:

Incumbent will lead the current engineering team. He/She will be responsible for overall code quality, database architecture, and UI/UX. Candidate will coordinate with outsourced application development team to design and deliver new applications and new modules in existing applications.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITY:

- Design and monitor development sprints. Envision development road-map, use-case scenarios, dependencies on current modules, and test-case scenarios.

- Develop overall technology action plan to achieve organization goals across the entire customer value chain i.e., acquisition, engagement, and retention.

- Track industry and competition progress on technology. Identify global best practices and design a plan to adapt it in the Indian context to suit the need for SecureNow clients.

- Ensure various applications are ready for scale-up. Assess readiness for scale vis-a-vis engineering, server and technology stack-up

- Coordinate with product team to understand specification requirements. Liaison for user testing, and application's market roll-out

- Monitor user experience on various applications via key performance indicators e.g., bounce rate, user reviews, pages per visit, user time on application etc. Develop initiatives to achieve best-in-class results across these metrics.

- Leverage available market tools to increase efficiency of development process and user experience

- Identify and implement continuous upgrades to websites and proprietary applications

- Report achievement vis-a-vis plan on periodic basis to management team. Maintain MIS on key performance indicators

- Build out the systems to automate key operational activities

- Ensure technical accuracy

- Manage team of 5-10 in-house members and a team of 8-10 outsourced application developers

CANDIDATE BACKGROUND:

- Post-graduate degree (preferred) with ideally 8-10 years of work experience

- B.Tech degree from premier institutes only (IITs/NITs)

- Experience in application development and engineering management roles

- A good understanding and knowledge of coding and application development

Salary range: 30 LPA to 40 LPA
