SecureNow - Senior Manager - Technology - Project Management

SUMMARY OF THE JOB:

Insurance sector as a whole is at a nascent stage in India. Technology uptake in the sector has been abysmal. SecureNow is at the fore-front of transforming the sector using technology in various parts of the value chain. Currently, SecureNow has in-house developed proprietary tools for CRM and Purchasing. We also have a mobile application developed for our end-users i.e., employees of our client. Incumbent will push the technology agenda further and multiple capabilities of our tools by 10x over the next 12-18 months.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITY:

Incumbent would lead the ongoing projects and be responsible for the following broad functions:

- Need identification: Work with various functions to identify technology gaps, ideate on solutions and develop proto-types solutions

- Project management: Supervise the progress of the development team, set and track milestones, and review daily progress.

- Platform identification: Evaluate various technology platforms available for code development. Assess for speed of development, scalability and cost.

- Quality testing: Supervise quality analysts to develop test cases, identify bugs, prioritize solutions and track progress.

- Benchmark solutions: Regularly compare in-house tools with that of competitor and third-party solutions. Help formulate make vs buy decisions and oversee implementation.

CANDIDATE BACKGROUND:

Post-graduate degree with ideally 3-5 years of work experience. Preferred profile is project and technology managers currently working in software development or technology firms.
