Section Head - Planning & Gas Optimization - Fertilizer Manufacturing

- To entirely co-ordinate for gas management activity with various plants at site and with various gas suppliers on day - to - day basis i.e. internal & external planning in regards to gas requirement of the whole complex. Also fortnightly invoicing, joint ticket verification, coordination with gas suppliers, following up for routine preventive and breakdown maintenance of gas stations.

- To monitor the custody meters and various gas meters in the complex.

- To fortnightly participate in online bidding with gas suppliers as per plant requirement.

Gas management activity for the whole complex

- No plant shut down for the want of Natural Gas.

- Day to day basis coordination with GAIL and other gas suppliers for nominations and tracking for Nil SHIP or Pay, Imbalance charges and contractual take or pay obligations

- Combination of the various sources of Natural gas, to receive the Ga at the most optimum price.

Maintenance of Gas Stations & monitoring the custody of gas meters

- Co- ordination with GAIL O & M for routine preventive and breakdown maintenance activities for Gas receiving stations

- Monitoring of custody meters and various gas meters in complex through Dash Board

- Periodic calibrations of custody meters.

Online Bidding for Gas supply and documentation & Invoicing of Bills

- Co-ordination with GAIL and other gas suppliers for nominations and tracking for Nil Ship or pay, Imbalance charges and contractual take & Pay obligations

- Documentation of various correspondences with gas suppliers and transporters including legal cases

- Documentation of all contracts and tracking of renewal activity

- Gas price tracking on fortnight basis and CT (Transport Contract) preparation on fortnightly and monthly basis and tracking of the same till approval is received from GAIL marketing and mapping by GAIL operations in system

- Fortnightly online bidding participation with GAIL

- Availing bids from various gas suppliers to finalise the short -term gas requirement of the complex.

- Co- ordination with vendors for Contract finalization and fortnightly joint ticketing & Invoicing.

Audits & Emergency Management

- PNGRB Audits - Facing the audit and closing the issues, if any

- Handling GAS pipeline emergency situations

This role is critical in nature as the Production Budget, costing and revenue working are based on Gas procurements, tracking of Gas Activities for payment; Total procurement approx. Rs. 300 Crore/ annum.
