Curve HR is an executive search firm in Manufacturing, BFSI and IT space.  For one of our client, a Leading Manufacturing MNC, we are seeking a SCM Head   Position - SCM head  Experience: 8-13 years  Location - Gujarat  Principal Duties:  - Production Planning & Control: Review demand forecasts and order priority with production planning & control team; establish supply schedules for raw material based on production schedule and Bill of Materials  Procurement:   - Ensure material availability as per the production schedule for each product line  - Capacity planning and creation: Ensure that space requirements for stocking inventory in stores & warehouse are met; enhance capacity if required, based on future demand forecast   - Build mutually beneficial supplier relationships that offer quality, value and flexibility to meet changing supply requirements  Stores & Warehouse:   - Coordinate inventory planning and replenishment of raw materials, components and finished goods as per requirements  - Set RM and consumable inventory norms; monitor and report compliance based on accurate data  - Classification of RM inventory into A,B,C category and define appropriate stock levels for each  Supply chain performance metrics:   - Establish, monitor and report supply chain performance metrics  - Manpower management: Resolve issues; periodically review and appraise performance of subordinates.  - Improvement initiatives: Drive initiatives for improving lead times at each product line  - Coordinate with other departments such as production, excise & taxation for smooth functioning  - Special projects: Champion 2-3 supply chain initiatives/new projects, taken on a yearly basis  Additional responsibilities, on a temporary basis  Experience:  - 8-10 years Supply Chain Planning experience  - Experience of implementing/utilizing ERP systems for supply chain   - Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain concepts and application  Soft Skills :  - Excellent communication skills  - Excellent organizational skills and ability to balance immediate/long term priorities  - Ability to work under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities  - Ability to think critically and analytically to solve problems  Key Performance Indicators:  - On-time raw material availability in optimal quantity  - Improvement in delivery times while reducing costs  - Meeting inventory norms  - Vendor development and supplier relationships  - Successful completion of special projects  Bhagyashree Curve HR | Mumbai
