Consultant SCM - Predictive Asset Maintenance (PAM)

PAM Consultant would lead multiple consulting engagements that focus on delivering business benefits in the operations area. The engagements would involve modeling complex equipment using predictive models and tools, operationalizing the models through ongoing monitoring and analysis on client equipment data feeds, developing and presenting operational recommendations to clients, and working with clients through implementation of the recommendations.

The role would require strong support for pre-sales as well as creation of re-usable assets and publications based on past company projects. The work demands candidates that are capable of operating on multiple work-streams with minimal functional guidance to deliver results. The roles would be based out of India but may require extended travel and stay overseas and in India as per company policy.

Objective:

Create, configure, and monitor predictive maintenance models for predicting equipment failure based on periodic or live data feed from client sites. In order to do this, the candidate will interface with clients to understand engineering aspects of complex equipment and equipment history to create predictive models. The role would also require support for pre-sales as well as creation of re-usable assets and publications based on past Accenture projects. The role would be based out of India but may require extended travel and stay overseas and in India as per company policy.

The work would require the following:

- Deep understanding of predictive modeling

- Past experience with tools in the predictive analytics domain

- Appreciation of underlying business fundamentals in the predictive maintenance area

- Project management expertise

- Client management skills

- Strong written and oral communication skills

- Team building and people management skills

- Proficiency with MS word, excel and PowerPoint

Ideal candidates would have an engineering degree and preferably a Master’s degree in a relevant area such as Statistics or Maintenance. Past history of leading consulting project engagements is a plus. A minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance or related areas is needed with at least 1 year in analytics. Hands-on experience with at least one relevant analytics tool is important (e.g. R, SAS, SPSS, and Minitab etc.).
