Role Summary/Purpose :
This role is for SBI Credit Cards.
The key responsibilities of this role will be timely & qualitative Audits,closing and reporting, related reconciliations & Operational Accounting etc.
Essential Responsibilities Job description of Manager (Closing & Reporting)
1. Audit
- Managing all the Audits including Statutory, Internal, CAS, Tax assessments etc. from time to time and ensure no open queries from them.
2. Closing Activities
- Managing the overall closing and taking care of expenses and ensuring the timely submission and meeting deadlines
- Coordinating with business for various process related issues
- Submitting the US Nos. to Parent entity on timely manner.
3. Reporting
- Ensuring the timely and accurate submission of various time bound returns to Regulators.
- Ensuring the accurate and timely data inputs to GE on timely and adhoc basis
- Acting as a SPOC for regulators for all their queries related to returns and other data requirements.
4. Reconciliation
- Managing and reviewing all Balance sheet reconciliations related to C&R areas and Parent entities.
- Ensuring timely submission and all relevant backups to avoid last minute surprises
5. Ensure the implementation and maintenance of internal control policies and procedures keeping in mind both Indian and US accounting standards.
- Managing accounting for Fixed assets, Payroll Expenses, Expense Accruals and reviewing related reconciliations.
- Managing Intercompany accounting, payments and reconciliations.
Qualifications/Requirements
1. CA with 5+ years of experience in Closing & Reporting Role preferably in Finance Industry
2. Good experience in Oracle Accounting Modules
