SAS Partners - Head - Human Resource (12-15 yrs)

Position Summary :

- Responsible for providing strategic and functional leadership to the Human Resources function in the organization. Partner with the leadership team in conceptualizing, developing, executing and managing HR processes & systems that lead to higher productivity, active engagement and a positive work culture within the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Talent acquisition is one of the key focus areas and as the process owner, you should understand business requirements, help department heads in defining job descriptions, set job expectations, manage recruitment and ensure the talents acquired meet the business expectations

- Proactively be aware of employee related risks (attrition, grievances, negative influences) among employees that could potentially affect employee morale and engage in corrective actions or even propose/implement policy enhancements or changes.

- Engage, mentor and motivate the HR team and other managers to maintain a positive & energetic work environment for employees

- Actively champion the Learning & Development plans and initiatives across the company, Collaborate with Department Heads & Senior Managers to plan attrition and manage key roles succession efficiently.

- Produce periodic Management Information reports and highlight risks / concerns around employee adherence to HR policies, morale and engagement.

- Ensure Company Policies & Procedures are frequently updated and enforced, While the payroll process is outsourced, as the process owner, you should regularly perform audits and ensure that there are no defects or delays.

- Stay on top of employee statutory/regulatory changes. While you may take legal advice/assistance from Lawyers/experts, you should be aware of any statutory/regulatory changes and proactively make policy/process changes to ensure compliance.

- Conduct periodic market surveys to ensure that the company's compensation and benefits packages are competitive.

- Be the brand ambassador of the organisation, effectively use the Company's social media channels to connect with employees as well as the outside world.

- Promote good work-life-balance - organism Health & Wellness programs, sporting and other fun competitions to boost employee morale and team spirit.

- Ensure HR records are always up to date and relevant

Key Required Skills :

- Excellent people skills with a natural ability to connect with employees at all levels

- Confident in grievance handling with a structured approach problem solving

- Excellent command over English and fluent written and verbal communication

- Proficient in writing policy documents

- Eye for details, ability to spot risks, gaps or errors in legal documents

- Knack for spotting talent among employees or potential employees

- Ability to engage and captivate audience while hosting office parties/events
