SAS DI Consultant - BFSI

- 8+ Years with good communication, willing to travel

- SAS DI studio experience, SAS Consultant – should know Data warehousing, programming etc

- Banking domain with DDS experience. DDS is must.

Job Description:

The consultant will provide consulting services, including solution development, implementation and closeout. And s/he will work with other SAS business units to operate and support production systems.

Primary Responsibilities

- Works and collaborates with others on consulting projects and special projects as assigned.

- Provides reliable delivery of targeted project results through role as expert in the application of specific SAS methodologies, projects and technologies.

- Understands, utilizes and communicates best practice methodologies and industry standards internally and externally.

- Installs SAS software solutions and any required supporting products for knowledge sharing and demonstration purposes as assigned.

- Participates in product and solution training to acquire and maintain a detailed level of product knowledge of core components of SAS offerings.

- Leverages detailed technical knowledge to support sales opportunities and implementations across solution domains.

- Extensive domestic and international travel as business demands (20%-70%)

- Professional Services to support implementation of following -

- SAS Banking DDS

- Credit Scoring

- Credit Risk

Additional Responsibilities

- Looks for opportunities to expand a tactical sale into something strategic for SAS and the client, utilizing SAS Technical Support to facilitate responses to issues that may impact a sales opportunity.

- Oversees the technical progress of ongoing services.

- Works proactively with others for the purpose of cross-training and knowledge transfer.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Superior knowledge of SAS products, peripheral technologies and implementation best practices for designing complex, multi-solution architectures.

- Superior problem solving, organizational, decision-making written, oral and interpersonal skills.

- Specialized in specific technical area such as security, data management, system integration, business intelligence and/or reporting.

Technology :

- WINDOWS, UNIX, LINUX operating system

- Oracle, Teradata and/or DB2

- SAS programming skills and SAS9 9.x Platform

- SAS Data Integration Suite, DataFlux/Data Quality

- SAS Banking Detailed Data Store (DDS) and related solutions (Credit Scoring, Credit Risk etc.)
