Position- SAP PI Consultant

Job location – Hyderabad/ Mumbai /Chandigarh

The SAP Process Integration Developer will work as part of IT Enterprise Applications Development and will be responsible for the development of PI/XI solutions including mapping and IDOC processing. The candidate should have functional exposure to FI/CO, MM, or SD and also good knowledge in other SAP technologies (ABAP, BAPIs, BADIs, IDOCs, User Exits, WebDynpro, BSP, SAPScript, SmartForms, and Adobe Forms). The individual must be an effective team member with a focus on the customer to solve business problems quickly and in a creative manner.

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the development of PI/XI solutions, root cause analysis, advice and adoption of best practices, developing interface enhancements, maintaining development standards.

- Developing and executing detailed unit test plans. Providing production support of implemented PI solutions. Developing clear documentation for completed products.

- Participates in proof of concept analysis and prototypes to ensure proposed solution can meet business requirements.

- Review business requirements with the requestor or business owner to obtain a good understanding of the user's requirements and priorities.

- Use analytical and technical skills to translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications.

- Adhere to quality management best practices such as thorough testing of application updates, changes, or patches in a non-production environment and observe Change Management policies and procedures.

Desired Profile:

- At least 5+ years' experience in application development utilizing XI/PI - involving Web Services, File, RFC, XI, JMS, JDBC, IDOC, SOAP and HTTP technologies.

- Experience configuring the XI/PI Landscape in the System Landscape Directory. - Extensive PI monitoring, architecture and development knowledge.

- Experience with IBM MQ and Sterling solutions is a plus

- Experience in SAP ALE Administration.

- Experience with third party adapters.

- Good experience in SAP ABAP technologies like ABAP Workbench, DDIC objects, ABAP Debugger, BAPI, BADI, RFC, ALE/EDI, IDOCs, ALV Grids, LSMW, BDCs, SAP Script, Smart forms is required.

- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with global teams.

- Experience with SAP Portals is preferred.

- Hands on HANA CLOUD INTEGRATION would be an added advantage.
