EWM: Architect: over 10 yrs experience, at least 4 – 5 yrs in EWM / WM space; at least 2 full lifecycle EWM project exp

EWM Architect is responsible for successful delivery of Extended Warehouse Management system (eWM) module including implementation, upgrade, and/or extension of existing applications.

Requirements

- Strong warehouse and Logistics Business Process Knowledge and experience

- Full understanding of the benefits which an organization can leverage from implementing a fully integrated WM/eWM solution

- Must have basic functional knowledge of WM, IM, MM, and eWM

- 4-5 years of experience in full lifecycle implementation of SAP WM/EWM space

- At least 2 full cycle implementations of WM or eWM

- Experience in yard management, labor management, cross-docking and slotting.

- Knowledge of integration between SAP modules including capabilities, limitations & best practices

- Ability to prepare complete functional specifications based on end user requirements

- Experience on CIF and knowledge of interfacing to 3rd party software using IDOC’s or BAPI’s

- Experience in setting up master data elements in a manner to best meet the business requirements

- Experience of integration to GIS, Document management, CAD and mobile device technologies.

- Must possess leadership, organizational, communication and time management skills.

- Must practice effective listening skills and effective collaboration skills.

- Good presentation skills and meeting leadership and facilities skills.

- A resource in defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designingand prototyping,testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines

- Adept at implementing technology-enabled business solutions for clients as part of a high-talent team

- Provide knowledge transfer to customers

- Develop and foster a collaborative working relationship with clients. Works collaboratively with the team, consultants, project managers, and corporate development to develop consulting and project methodology, techniques, tools, and solutions.

- Provide guidance, assistance, and training opportunities to team members and client staff.

- Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline or equivalent business/technical process work experience.
