HR Services Specialist
Location: Udaipur, India
The Role
To provide expert support, advice, guidance and coaching to line managers, and ensure quality delivery of activities, within an HR area of expertise, or across a number of areas of expertise.
Key Performance Areas:
- Provides support to Sandvik employees across all Business Areas within their country or region.
- Manages the delivery of complex and specialists activities within HR Services focused within their own area of expertise.
- Responsible for using their judgement and discretion to interpret policies and procedures and apply them appropriately for the situation.
- Responsible for offering support, coaching, advice and guidance to Sandvik managers and employees in order to actively raise their understanding of and expertise in people management and HR issues/processes.
- Exceptionally responsible for providing face to face support to managers in high risk or complex situations.
- Where required to manage the HRBP population as a key stakeholder to keep them informed of risks or challenges in their business areas.
- Responsible for ensuring the delivery model for shared service is reinforced by directing the customer to correct channel.
- Support Employee Relations for the sites / locations / offices with the help of the concerned People Managers.
- Provide secondary Support to Industrial Relations as and when required.
- Own the Recruitment process for the responsible area of work.
- Act as the point of contact to the responsible set of employees for the queries & concerns in relation to Human Resources Policies, procedures and Systems.
Your Profile:
Degree in HR. 6-10 years of experience working in HR generalist or specialist role providing services to Line Manager. Should be willing to travel 25% - 40% of time.
