Job Title / Role : - Sales & Marketing Manager (Nutrition)- India & Southeast Asia

Designation : Manager

Reporting To: Business Director - Consumer Care

(C) JOB DESCRIPTION :

Role Summary:

- Assist regional/local business managers in defining and executing overall strategy for clients Consumer Care, India & Southeast Asia

- Develop sales of all product groups related to the Consumer Care (Nutrition) product range across all countries in assigned sales territory.

- Develop and execute marketing, sales and account management program related to the industry, market and product range

Primary Role Responsibilities:

1. Gather intelligence on served product markets

2. Put in place sales efforts post strategy review

3. Manage both sales efforts and network of distributors to achieve sustained high performance

4. Coordinate and assist inter regional sales force and distributors in their marketing needs

Responsibilities link to the Post

Sales and Marketing activities:

- Develop, determine, drive and deliver operating results on revenue and income

- Keep direct contact with key internal contacts globally

- Review on an on-going basis performance of distributors

- Ensure technical and sales competences training for distributors

- Develop at regional level strategic and tactical sales plan

- Propose / suggest new products / new technology and market development

- Provide India & Southeast Asia input into product pricing strategies and suggest key account goals and strategies

Reporting / Communication:

- Monitor sales results and prepare sales / margins analysis and reports on regular basis (monthly report)

- Develop product forecast, stock min/maxes and work in close relationship with ?Supply Chain - to optimize stock levels and minimize SLOBs

- Serve as communication link between inter Asia and global sales and accounts teams

Safety Responsibility: Is knowledgeable and complies with all pertinent safety policies, rules and regulations

Job Scope:Sales / Planning / Forecasting/ Reporting / Identifying key decision makers with customers and influence the decision making process / Distributor management/ Complaint resolution / Market dynamics foresight/ Market Development

Qualifications

Skill and/or Education Requirements:

Skills:

- Strong commercial acumen and interpersonal skills

- Strong sales record (a hunter - disposition)

- Strong marketing analytical, planning and implementation skills

- Good knowledge of related chemical and chemical process knowledge

- Knowledge of SAP (SD/CRM) would be an asset

Working Conditions:

The work is done primarily in front of the customers - commercial / technical / entrepreneurs / R & D managers etc. Travel is part and parcel of the job.

(D) CANDIDATE PROFILE :

Qualifications and Experience:

- At least 5 years regional sales experience

- Graduate in food Technology or other relevant qualification.

- BBA or Marketing Qualifications

- Fluent in written and speaking in English

Must Have: -

Experience into Nutrition product range

Pan India basis

Nice to Have:-

Experience in South Asia preferred
