Sales Manager - Ad Serving Platform (6-9 yrs)

Our Client is an international supplier of digital marketing solutions and is AOL Advertising's ad serving platform. The company's flagship product is an integrated ad server solution that enables web publishers, ad networks, agencies and advertisers to manage, serve and evaluate virtually any kind of online advertising campaign including display, video and mobile formats.

Sales person for Asia will report into Director of EMEA +APAC

Position Purpose:

The India Sales Manager with revenue responsibility will selling client's Ad Serving technology. The right candidate will be able to successfully lead efforts encompassing all aspects of the sales cycle, from sales strategy, territory planning, and sales calls. The successful candidate will manage sales to top-tier agencies, as well as clients direct.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Successfully identify, call on and close new business on both the agency and client sides.

- Organize and direct half of the corporate sales territory

- Maximize revenues through successful sales approach

- Utilizes sales reporting and management of systems for sales efficiency, forecasting, planning, communication and client tracking

- Implement forward-thinking policies aimed at developing and improving customer retention and satisfaction

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of the online-media market

- Proven track record of closing new business and maintaining current accounts

- Big picture thinker, with the ability to both understand the total value proposition of our client's properties, as well as to get things done and close deals

- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and analytical tools used to plan and manage sales activities

- Superior ethics and integrity in all business dealings

- Knowledge of ad serving solutions from the client side is a plus.

- Basically the person should feel a desire to build something from scratch as our client is new in India. There is not pipeline from someone else to inherit. There is no-one to push every day to do the right things. There is guidance, there is support - but everyone has to find his or her role easily and fill it with life.

- The ideal candidate should be happy with the role for at least 18-24 months and then look for ways to move up in the organization.

Education / Experience:

- The candidate should know the business and be able to understand and explain complex technical applications. The candidate should understand business environments of various complexities and to address these with the right sales approach. This is more important for us than formal education requirements.

- The candidate should bring at least three years of sales experience, best would be in our industry but not at direct competitors
