Sales Head - Retail (8-15 yrs)

Head: Retail Sales

- The Chief Sales and Marketing Officer will be responsible for building and managing a sales organization and a large number of channel partners. As a key member of the senior leadership team, this executive will be responsible for developing and manage the seamless processes and systems in addition to driving exponential growth.

Responsibilities

- Develop and manage a market leading brand through innovative and traditional marketing strategies to drive brand awareness resulting in a high volume of lead generation and sales activity

- Develop and manage a 30+ person sales and marketing team which includes the Channel Partnerships, Business Development Managers, Account Managers, Lead Generation Managers, Retention Managers and others

- Develop, apply and manage a highly disciplined approach to managing the sales process (e.g. requiring meeting notes and sales reports from all members of the sales team, a follow-up process) to ensure that opportunities are maximized

- Set and achieve clear actionable targets for direct reports and the national sales staff

- Develop and maximize channel partner relationships, social referral partnerships and find opportunities to grow Coordinate with the Chief Technology Officer to manage the contract and legal requirements

- Develop and manage integrated sales strategy for broad set offerings.

- Develop, actively manage and drive the sales pipeline for new and existing business

- Develop strategies to cross-sell / up-sell to existing accounts and also open new accounts

- Develop training and sales documentation to ensure consistency

- Actively collaborate with the sales team to develop pitches and proposals

- Develop competitive intelligence capability and full competitive landscape

Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate will be an experienced world-class sales and marketing executive with an impressive track record in building and developing incredible, high impact organizations.

Desired skills and experience:

- Experience working in the following domains: Retail and Technology

- Experience managing the entire sales process and reporting relevant sales metrics

- Strong organizational, presentation and public speaking / communication skills

- Strong customer-orientation, needs assessment, interpersonal and listening skills
