This individual will be resposnsible to understand client needs, provide a scalable and cutting edge technology solution suiting client needs and closing the leads generated. The candidate will work with the sales team to amplify the company's go-to-market approach and effectiveness while driving growth and profitability. Sigma is a fast growing, fast-paced, cutting edge, and business-oriented organization with an energetic atmosphere.  Job Description:  - Developing a strategic approach to growing revenues by gaining share through new customer acquisition and with expanding relationship with existing customers.  - Responsible for selling software solutions & services in areas of Software Product Engineering, Ecommerce, Application Development (Analytics, Cloud, Web applications, Mobility, ERP) and Business Intelligence Services  - 50% of the effort will be spent towards closure of new opportunities generated by the sales team. Needs close working with client's business and technology teams to identify critical success factors and putting together a proposal  - 50% of the effort will be spent towards generating new leads in the local market through activities like attending local meetups, events, technology groups etc.  - Collaborating with the sales team and management team to proactively introduce new ideas to drive performance, profitability, solution re-use etc.  Desired Skills and Experience:  - An Engineering Undergraduate (preferably also an MBA) with 10-12 years exp and atleast the last 3 years in pre-sales / solution architecting for software solutions in Ecommerce / BI / Product Engineering space / Application Development space.  - Early career experience in a larger company, - blue chip- environment with more recent experience in a middle market, smaller business or otherwise highly entrepreneurial organization.  - Strong track record in participative selling and acquiring new customer logos.  - Analytical and negotiation skills, ability to synthesize complex technical and business, issues to apply that knowledge at solving problems and executing action plans.  - Ability to manage remote locations and travel as needed.  - Experience working with a CRM system and an ability to leverage such systems to track activity, analytics and drive process improvement.  - Knowledge of market trends, industry participants, new technologies & business models
