Responsibilities:

- The Sales Director - Masstige is responsible for the sales performance of Traditional Trade, Modern Trade and emerging Sales Channels (e-Commerce etc.) Pan-India for Masstige Brands.

- He/she is responsible in formulating, proposing and delivering the overall sales objectives and supervises, fine-tunes and monitors the execution, taking initiatives to cease every opportunity to increase sales in accordance with the companies’ policies and strategies.

- He/she manages the Sales Team assigned to him/her. It is his/her obligation to form an efficient and effective team that works well with all internal and external members.

- The Sales Director - Masstige sets clear targets for his/her team members in alignment with the company directives.

- The Sales Director reports to and work in conjunction with the National Sales Director or the Managing Director in absence of a National Sales Director.

Primary Responsibilities (non-conclusive):

- Development and execution of Sales strategies for new product and brand launches

- Timely and successful Introduction of new products

- Management of store counter fabrication and installation

- Budgeting and goal setting (Sales team) of Sales targets by Retailer/Stores/Distributors

- Managing Top line and profitability (P&L) by Retailers/ Distributors /stores

- Driving and monitoring both sell-in, sell-through and sell-out according to the targets validated and agreed by Executive management

- Create and promote strong business relations with Key Accounts

- Development of new accounts

- Negotiation with new and existing Key accounts to secure favourable terms of trade, promotions and Visibility requirements

- Oversee and facilitate negotiations to secure new Stores with favourable counter locations.

- Develop and contribute to establishment of strategic sales operation supporting senior management and liaising with both Tokyo (e.g. recruiting, training and mentoring of sales team, Establishing a strong sales organization/team)

- Prepares and establishes action plan and sales forecast according to the objective of top lines

- Market inventory management

- Develops action plans/recovery plan to address performance gaps with targeted budget

- Overall team management of Masstige sales force

- BA management

- Budget control of sales activity cost management

- Provides timely and accurate feedback to senior management on regular basis an ad-hoc basis as well

- Has an ear to the market to Monitor, gather, analyse and present competitor activities

- Creates and proposes Sales strategies both short and Long term (includes organization and Pan-India sales expansion and growth strategy)

Required Qualification:

- Education: Graduate in any principle.

- Degree / Diploma in Business Management or related subject preferred

- 10-12 years’ experience in Sales activities

- Minimum 4 years responsibility for handling Traditional Trade & 3 years responsibility for handling Modern Trade in the region in FMCG sector

- Personal Care/ Beauty related FMCG experience

- Experience in managing both top line and P&L

- Experience in Trade negotiations and strategy

- Has a good understanding of the Beauty FMCG sector, with beauty sensibilities

- Well connected with key Modern Trade retailers

- MNC experience (Preferable)

- Should be able to function in a multi-cultural environment

- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required

- PC Know-how: Firm command of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

- Preferably from the Upper Masstige Skin-care category
