Position - Sales Consulting Manager – Linux & Virtualization

Job Profile:
- Actively participates in account planning and management as a member of the account team. Identifies new opportunities in their accounts.
- Develop, present and demonstrate Oracle Linux & Oracle VM solution to prospective customers based on detailed customer requirements.
- Build Oracle Linux & Oracle VM technical knowledge base for Japanese customer.
- Respond to RFP and write bidding document.
- Conduct proof-of-concept, overcome objections and compete against competitors to achieve technical wins.
- Be the recognized product expert of Oracle Linux & Oracle VM Solutions in assigned territory.
- Keep abreast of product knowledge and transfer knowledge to sales, field SC teams, and other relevant
constituents within the Oracle and Partner community
- Provide field feedbacks (from customers & partners) to HQ product management team.
- Build trusted relationships with customers and partners. Becomes a trusted advisor to the customer/partner
- Business travel is needed as and when is needed.
Experience & Technical Skills:
- Great communication (Written and Verbal) skill
- Bachelor Degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
- More than 4 years experience in presales role, consultant with customer focus, or equivalent experience.
- Strong technical knowledge in Linux.
- Strong technical knowledge in Virtualization platform: Xen and/or VMware preferred.
- Possession of industry recognized certifications in Linux and Virtualization is highly preferred.
- Strong solution technical background with good specialization in IT infrastructure, with broad industry knowledge.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with servers and storage technologies
- Oracle product(s) knowledge, e.g. Oracle database is an advantage.
- Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
- Strong project management skills.
