Safe Harvest is in the process of scaling up its operations to more geographies across the country and is looking out for a dynamic go getter to lead its Sales team.   POSITION: HEAD OF SALES   As the Head of Sales you will lead the team of sales professionals and will be part of the senior management team as one of the key decision makers. You will be responsible for sales strategy and execution, driving profitable growth and business development.  Key responsibilities:  - Overall responsibility of driving sales for the company and reaching targets  - Creating an enthusiastic and successful sales environment focusing on becoming the largest selling brand in select geographies.  - Negotiating sales contracts and marketing strategies and managing key corporate accounts at a national level.  - Increasing sales and distribution of new and existing products.  - Managing the success of the sales team across all Modern trade customers in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai and Mumbai.  - Establish sales and strategic goals for the company and ensure achievement of goals.  - Overseeing the team of sales professionals, mentoring and directing strategies for success and driving sales plans.  - Nurturing high-level relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.  - Building and developing strong business relationships with new and existing channels.  - Developing and assessing the national marketing strategy to increase customer acquisition and retention.  - Evaluating information related to sales, promotions, competition and market research.  - Managing budgets and new implementations.  The Successful Applicant You will have a strong sales management background in the FMCG industry with a passion to progress. Significant experience in the Modern trade FMCG food market along with demonstrated examples of developing and sustaining high performance would be advantageous.
