We are looking for a Senior Manager HR for two of our Breweries located at Aurangabad, Maharashtra  Position Summary:  Provide support & services to all employees for building a motivated team which delivers at its best so that the business needs are met and company targets achieved  Job Description:  Performance Management  - Implementation of PMS in the Plant - driving goal setting and review processes for the Managers, the second line and later for the workmen; facilitating midyear and annual reviews; coordinating One-on-ones  - Ensuring normalization between the departments i.e. there is equity in measurement of performance-   Planning  - Manpower planning for the Plant based on the projected volumes & units requirements - manpower forecasting as well as manpower rationalization (if required), secondary manpower planning etc.  - Preparing and managing budgets for the department including manpower and administrative costs, and support services  - Drive and coordinate leave planning for the workmen along with the department head  Driving Organisational Change  - Driving the right culture in the organization in-line with company vision, mission and values  - Conducting awareness and culture building training along with the relevant experts in coordination with L&D and Unit Head  - Promoting team working and team building culture at the unit. Supporting the Unit Head in identifying and building the right behavior, through personal interactions, training, workshops etc.  - Maintaining high motivation levels through a performance management based culture; identifying problem areas and initiating/ advising corrective action  - Organizing meetings & interacting with the employees on a regular basis; counselling them so as to ensure a culture of trust, to pre-empt problems. Making efforts to develop the team  Recruitment & other HR Activities  - Recruiting for the vacancies at the unit level. This includes coordinating with the Consultant/HUB TA Team  - Ensuring that all the employees are aware of the HR policies; communicating any changes from time to time  - Interacting with the Departmental Heads to decide on issues related to improved work procedures, improving efficiencies through interdepartmental transfers, counselling etc. Facilitating HOD's to initiate departmental change as and when necessary  - Ensuring that all Unit level/ regional/ HUB office interventions are implemented/ prepared within timelines & results achieved as per guidelines. Preparation of Monthly HR Report  IR, Legal and Statutory Compliances  - Ensuring amenable Union - Management relation exist so as to make sure that plant operates smoothly & no man-days are lost due to industrial unrest  - Negotiating with the unions (for Wage Agreements/ Incentive etc.) as & when required & proceed on the terms after discussions and approval from the HUB HR  - Ensuring that all the works/ joint committees formed to enforce participative management are functioning properly  - Ensuring that the general discipline is maintained in the plant at all levels/ departments. In case of any indiscipline, appropriate disciplinary action need to be initiated- Ensure grievance handling procedures & Domestic enquiries are being conducted  - Ensuring that all the statutory requirements are as per the labour laws/ rules applicable to the unit are met & within the time-frames set  - Ensuring that all the legal compliances & provisions are met. In case any of legal problem, appropriate action must be initiated in the better interest of the organization in consultation with the specified managers to advise  - Ensuring all the payments are made to the Contractors esp. related to secondary manpower deployment  Administrative Functions  - Ensuring that all the employees are adhering to the rules & regulations set down by the company  - Ensuring that the time office management is on track and the leaves are properly managed & OT is minimized optimally  - Ensuring that all the employees are getting all the benefits of the workers Benefit Schemes and facilities are at optimum levels of basic budgets  - Facilitate communication through management of Notice Boards in departments/ other conspicuous places  - Ensuring that the Security staff performs its duties efficiently; safety of the premises is secured, no theft or pilferages occur; assets maintained & the movement of raw materials & finished products tracked-   Safety & Hygiene  - Action taken to eliminate unsafe or unhealthy conditions and items of non compliance with the Factories and other places of work  - Proactive ethic towards health and safety is coached to all employees  - Tool Box Talk - Concerned person e.g. the Company Doctor to speak about common topics like Hygiene, Occupational Diseases, and HIV etc. Similarly topics like Cleanliness at work place, Dangers of loose/hanging electrical connections can be taken up at various forums  - Ensuring that the workers in various departments use protective equipment's while working and maintaining them in a good working condition. Also need to keep records of equipment issued to each employee  - To see that the general Housekeeping of the plant meets the set IQMS standards. Coordinate the same with the Departmental Heads on a regular basis  External Environment Management and Liasioning  - Manage the external environment i.e. the Government Officials, Police, Local bodies of the surrounding areas & people influencing the day to day operation of the unit, with necessary support of the unit head and other executives as may be necessary  - Initiating community development in the surrounding area to build better relationships with the community around and enhance the image of the company along with Corporate Affairs department  About SABMiller India:  SABMiller India is a wholly owned subsidiary of SABMiller plc, one of the world's largest brewers with brewing interests and distribution agreements across six continents.
