The Head- Information Technology shall exercise overall control and supervision of all activities related to IT.
Job Description:
- Oversee, monitor, control implemented SAP system in a retail/distribution environment
- Interface with SAP and benchmark with peer implementations to ensure leverage and efficiency in implemented SAP modules (MM/SD/FICO)
- Testing /Release & deployment of additional new software integration, system upgrades/patches, evaluate and resolve software related problems.
- Understand the current support issues and make a modification document along with Business users. Manage change requests - from definition to budget to execution.
- Coordinate with all the departments for IT solutions & support relates to IT functionality.
- Budgeting & Planning for IT infrastructure requirement & its dependency for appropriate IT solution.
- Opening & planning IT structure for the new Stores. IT setup Hardware/Software/Network.
- Liaise with FM/AMC Vendors for IT support; purchase & delivery of Hardware/Software
- Defining IT/System Policies, controlling & security levels IT access as per company policies & norms.
- Incorporating schedule system discounts/Promo activity & Tax rate structure amendment in system.
- Maintain, monitor, analyze system components and make recommendations regarding IT security, monitor network, computer and disk utilization.
- Scheduling and planning for regular preventive maintenance activities & keep the infrastructure up and running.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Should possess Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of SAP implementation
1. Functional and Project Management experience of SAP is essential
2. Knowledge of SAP licensing norms, licensing aspects is mandatory
- Should possess knowledge of SAP archiving and SAP BO/BI/MAP
- Should have good overview of SAP roadmap and associated new technologies e.g. SAP-HANA etc.
- Should be well versed with evolving digital landscape
- Should have deployed e-commerce portals and/or mobile applications
- Experience of IT infrastructure management
- Hardware sizing and performance; Hardware hosting; Data Security; Networking & Communications
- Must have worked at least 3 years with retail organization in a leadership role
- Should have developed and delivered an IT Roadmap/Strategy
