What Kind of Candidate we are looking for?
Non Negotiable Criteria:
Age - Not more than 45yrs
Education : Graduation is a must, MBA is preferable
Experience : At least 12 Yrs with multi geographical Exposure as a people manager in Northern Region.
Must have atleast 5 - 10 ASMs reporting to him currently and worked extensively in Delhi + NCR, Punjab, UP
Only FMCG experience will be considered in products which have high contribution in General Trade ( High Distribution model)

Product Portfolio : Soya Bari /Chunks / Granules, Edible Oil, Table Spread
Geographical Spread : J&K, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi & NCR, UP, Rajasthan
Business Size : 200 Cr Annual
Reporting : ASM - 11, SO - 35
Job Purpose : To prepare a business growth model for his region, coordinate business activities, set sales target for the whole region and make the team to achieve it.
Prepare Strategy & Long Term Plans
- Develop plans and strategies to prepare growth model for his region.
- Discuss plans with National Sales Manager for business development and do manpower planning for his assigned region.
- Locate geographies/ brands with poor performance and prepare a detailed plan to improve the product performance.
Process Innovation :
- Analyse current distribution system of the company and remove redundancies in the distribution channel through innovative solutions.
- Strategize for revenue growth as well as increase profitability of the company
People Management :
- Organize monthly and quarterly meetings with the sales team to discuss the future growth plans of the company and take inputs of current business activities along with the challenges faced by the sales team across the value chain and provide solutions for the same.
- Approve new positions in his territory, employee transfers, appraisals and increments of the existing employees in the region.
- Synergies and synchronize his team efforts and keep them motivated to improve their performance levels.
Forecasting and Synchronize with Teams:
- Co-ordinate Sales Team with the Logistics, Supply Chain, Trade Activations and Commercial Teams.
- Decide targets on the basis of forecasts for the territory, cascade it to lower levels & ensure team to achieve it.
- Stock planning with the Supply Chain and take monthly stock planning reports from them
- Give forecasts for the assigned region, and discuss the old stock liquidation & secondary planning with the Supply Chain Team.
- Support the execution of Trade Marketing activities at regional level & Co-ordinate with Modern Trade & Activations in other Promotional Activities.
- Review state wise pricing and discounts offered with the Commercial department and handle claims related issue with them.
