Risk Head - Microfinance - NBFC (5-10 yrs)
We have an opening for Risk Head for a renowned microfinance institute in Mumbai.
Need candidates only from banking/microfinance background.
Job Description :
Role involves travelling (10-15 days) in a month.
Preferable : Male candidates only
Education : CA / MBA (finance)
- Design and implement risk assessment and management framework based on industry best practices
- Supervise a team of Risk Managers and Risk Officers in carrying out an ongoing and proactive risk mapping and profiling exercise across branches to early detect risks and advise for optimization of the same.
- Work with field operations team in effectively optimizing detected risk elements as well as provide critical inputs in improvisation of operational processes and policies.
- Design score based branch rating tool as per risk assessment of all branches on a periodic basis.
- Ensure preparation and dissemination of risk related reports and presentations to concerned management team as well as to the board to enable them take informed decisions
- Develop and implement risk assessment and management practice for support functions such as finance, HR etc.
- Implement all risk practices as per regulatory and legal guidelines/requirements
- Carry out risk assessment exercise for pilot projects in new product development, expansion and process streamlining activities
