Risk Associate - Investment Bank (4-6 yrs)
For a leading Investment Bank:
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Manage and maintain a portfolio of sovereign and supranational
2. Write in-depth, high quality, insightful and focused research on credit trends, and specific sovereign issuers
3. Recommend Internal credit rating to senior members of the team for approval
4. Write special reports and articles on topical issues
5. Closely monitor economic, political, policy and regulatory trends to better anticipate sovereign-risk related changes in credit trends
6. Prepare internal updates, projects and reports for the Risk Management Group
Qualification, Experience & Skills:
1. Strong background Economics from reputed institute - CFA qualification would be beneficial
2. Sound credit judgment capable of developing independent opinion and defending own views
3. Excellent communication skills - able to communicate clearly and succinctly, both verbally and in writing
4. Strong analytical and problem solving skills
5. Self-motivated, good interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to form successful working relationships
6. Ability to work in a team oriented environment
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Word , Excel and power point
