Principal Duties And Responsibilities:
- To lead and grow the Resources Chemicals Industry Consulting practice
- Strategy Development & Execution
- Define the short term and long-term strategy to meet the overall practice growth targets - identify unique skills to be built and long-term clients to be pursued
- Advice Res lead and local geography leads in the Region on clients and opportunities.
- Help build/drive the team Capability in coordination with Industry Group and Business Services with the end goal to achieve the team skill requirement and ensure availability for deployment
- Play key roles - Functional Lead, Project Manager, Functional Solution Architect, Chemicals Industry Subject Matter Advisor, Go to Market Point of Contact
- Utilize deep understanding of Chemicals Industry processes and enterprise platforms experience (E.g. SAP, HANA, SFDC etc.) to design, implement and deliver enhanced capabilities for Chemicals Clients.
- Drive Business Readiness and Deployment activities for region(s)
- Identify opportunities by farming existing relationships and growing new networks
- Management & Administration - recruitment, performance management, capability development, integration with global practice, metrics management
- Draw on extensive knowledge and experience across SAP System Integration projects to provide insightful, deal-relevant points of view and recommendations based on robust analysis
- To harness extensive knowledge combined with an integrated suite of methods, people and assets to deliver sustainable long-term solutions
- To provide executives and their teams with the necessary strategies and tools to position their organizations for high performance
- To bring industry knowledge, world class capabilities, innovation and cutting-edge technology to our clients in the Chemicals industry to deliver business value.
- To work with leading Chemicals clients, major customers and suppliers to develop and execute global strategies, manage complex change initiatives and integrate solutions to meet changing business challenges
- Work requires travel to client site for project work across geographies
Qualifications: - MBA, Relevant accreditation for Chemicals industry
- MS/M.Tech/Phd. in a Chemicals industry relevant field
Would be advantageous, not mandatory:
- SAP Certification (SD/MM/IBP-Chemicals; CRM)
- Salesforce
- Project Management: PMP or Prince 2 (Would be an advantage)
Experience:
- SAP Process experience: SAP Sales & Distribution, SAP Finance, SAP Materials Management, CRM, Salesforce etc. (any 2)
- Process Transformation: Involves defining key performance indicators and associated work practices and collecting, managing and reporting monthly/quarterly on regional status.
- Value Architect: Assess Value Potential of a transformation program and ability to architect the value proposal

- Program Management: Involves effectively planning, managing and coordinating multiple projects in a dynamic environment with numerous and complex stakeholder's groups and execute on-time and on budget
- Programme management experience and track record of successful delivery of large, complex programmes
- Strong writing skills and experience of producing high caliber reports, papers, presentations and thought leadership
- Deep knowledge in Chemicals industry (Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, R&D or Manufacturing)
- People Management skills: supervision of analysts and consultants
- Active role in the identification of opportunities by farming existing relationships and growing new networks
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and lead global distributed teams
Key Competencies and Skills: - Strong Chemicals Industry Experience
- Strong functional experience with platform/IT transformation projects (HANA Transformation, ERP Transformation, CRM etc..)
- Strong project management skills and demonstrated experience in managing teams across functions and geographies
- Strong academic background.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
