Research Analyst - Oil & Gas Domain - Broking Firm

Recruiting for a research analyst role (oil & gas sector) with a reputed broking firm in mumbai. Below is the job description for the role. Candidates with relevant experience shall be preferred.

Experience : Equity research experience of 2-3 Years in the oil and gas sector

Key Deliverables : Writing research report and generating investment ideas from companies within Oil & Gas sector

- To work on financial models to formulate & finalize views on companies within the Oil and Gas industry

- Meet company management to assess investment potential of companies within allocated industry

- Attend analyst meets and investor conference calls of companies within allocated industry

- Maintain and update detailed financial models of the companies under coverage

- Ensure generation of adequate number of reports on the industry assigned to him/ her.

- Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of ideas.

- Regularly update relevant industry data and be updated with current industry trends

Functional Skills Required :

- Financial Forecasting and Modelling of Company Financials & Balance Sheets

- Report writing, Valuation Techniques, Ratio analysis, Earnings, Revenue and Cash-flow Projections and Guidance) Risk Analysis, understanding business outlook to establish sound Equity Valuations

Qualification : MBA Finance / CA/CFA/ ICWA

- Computer skills (proficiency in MS Excel/ MS Word, ppt)
