Research Analyst required for a Global Commodities trading firm
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain trade data wrt consumption, pricing, production levels
Fundamental Analysis and research
Making short, medium and long term trading strategy
Scenario Analysis wrt yield, crop damage, estimated losses, cost fluctuation
Collecting primary and secondary crop data and crop tour report
Preparing production estimates and analyzing deviations from the same
DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Strong logical reasoning
- Analytical skills- fundamental and statistical analysis.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable with MS Excel
- Willing to travel to production regions
- Experience of 2 years or more in agricultural commodities demand supply analysis
- Graduate or post-graduate in Economics or Agronomy
