The Research Analyst role is responsible for developing primary research, analysis and thought leadership in the consumer industries of Retail, Consumer Goods & Hospitality focused on the highest impact areas of technology-led business transformation. The Research Analyst role will be attached to Winculum’s client EKN Research (www.eknresearch.com) – a leading retail industry business-technology research and analyst firm.   Responsibilities:  - Authoring reports containing actionable recommendations   - End to end project management of research projects, including coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery  - Within a project, being responsible for:  - Developing the project abstract or summary  - Defining the research scope, including audience profile  - Developing primary and / or secondary research plan including surveys, interview guides and research templates  - Normalizing and analyzing gathered data to develop key findings and insights  - Presenting research findings in a structured format  - Shaping recommendations based on the findings  Requirements:   - 3 to 5 years experience within the Market Research industry  - Strong analytical, critical and creative thinking skills  - Exceptional written and oral communication  - Expertise with Excel, PowerPoint  X-Factor Experience:  You are at a significant advantage if you have any of the following experiences. Please highlight these in your cover letter.  - Experience with statistical analysis or visualization tools such as Tableau, SPSS  - Experience in the retail or retail IT industries  - Design or creative agency experience  - MBA from a reputed institute
