Job Responsibilities:

- Plan ordering and replenishment for regular trading days, promotions and key events ensuring availability for stores consistently

- Ensure stock holding levels at stores and Distribution Centre (DC) are in line with company targets

- Build and manage relationship with supply chain counterparts of vendors

- Conduct periodic reviews of vendor performance on deliveries and fill rates

- Liaise with commercial team on range, vendor performance, availability and promotion execution

- Liaise with marketing to understand future trading events and promotions to ensure that ordering team is aligned to deliver stocks

- Grow and develop regional teams

- Ensure regional teams plan inbound and outbound volumes evenly for the DC

- Ensure volume forecasts are provided to DC periodically to enable to plan and manage capabilities

- Conduct periodic meetings with DC Managers to improve ways of working between replenishment and distribution teams, improve efficiencies and lower supply chain costs

- Maintain an order and delivery schedule for all vendors

Knowledge and Skills Required:

- Prior experience with FMCG or Staples categories preferred

- Existing knowledge of vendors and their supply chains

- Hands-on experience with SAP and ordering systems is a must

- Strong planning, coordination, communication and analytical skills

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Powerpoint, MS Excel & MS Access)

- Experience in leading a team of people

- Employees who have approximately 6 years experience (preferably in Commercial / Supply Chain function in a retail business)
