Job Description - Content Head

As the Content Manager and Lead Writer, you will be responsible for the development of compelling content that positions the brand as a thought leader in fashion, generates brand recognition and supports lead generation and revenue growth. This is an opportunity for an outstanding candidate to make a significant contribution to the Marketing team within a fast-growing team and play a leading role in delivering high impact and engaging fashion content.

In this role, you will develop leading fashion message articulation and development ranging from communication campaign content to blog postings, info graphics, digital and social media collateral, and marketing content. You will be responsible for creating a wide range of written content for fashion/marketing materials that support the Firm's overall business goals. You will drive and maintain an editorial calendar, tied to promotions, themes, fashion trends DIY information content, Style Hacks and collection launches etc.

- Own fashion content strategy and development of editorial calendar.

- Manage team of writers.

- Produce content for all stages of the fashion/marketing pipeline- blog posts, email copy, direct mail copy, ad copy, commentary, video scripts, presentations, and other Fashion marketing collateral as mentioned above.

- Work with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop new ideas and ensure alignment on content creation and messaging.

- Interact on a regular basis with colleagues of all levels, including senior management; candidates must be comfortable with and able to build/maintain those relationships.

- Transform technical content into meaningful, business-relevant messages that further the brands reputation as a thought leader.

- Manage and update website content and copy that is optimized for SEO.

- Update and maintain content style guide and educate team members. Ensure consistency in the company's voice, key messages and editorial style across markets, channels and media.

- Handle multiple priorities simultaneously, delivering high-quality work on deadline.

- Keep up to date with developments in fashion markets and maintain a deep understanding of thought leadership activities implemented by our peer group.

- Edit and proof marketing materials prior to printing/release to ensure they are error-free, adhere to established standards and uphold the brands image.

Skills and Experience :

- A bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Fashion or a related field.

- 7+ years marketing writing and editing experience.

- Exceptional writing skills to help create a wide range of communication materials for various audiences.

- Demonstrated ability to capture complex ideas and express them in a clear, concise and engaging writing style.

- Extensive knowledge of fashion industry and fashion concepts/trends, with the ability to understand and communicate fashion topics/trends/terminology to consumers in an easy to understand manner by still being fashionable in the outlook.

- Multi-tasker with superb organizational, project and time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.

- Excellent stakeholder management skills; ability to interact with all levels of staff and management

- Self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced technology and fashion services company.

- An analytic mind-set balanced with creative thinking.

- Experience with SEO, Google Analytics or other Web analytics
