Job description :

Position Title :Deputy Manager- Category & Portfolio Management

Department : Retail-SCM

Work Location : Delhi (HO)

Grade : Deputy Manager

Travel Required : Yes (25%)

Reporting to : AGM - Category & Portfolio

Reported by : Sr. Category In charge / Planning In charge / ASMs

Minimum Job Requirements :

Educational Qualification : MBA / PG Diploma - Footwear Technology

Experience : 5 7 yrs. of Sales experience in Footwear/FMCG

Any additional requirement:

Purpose of the Position (Job Summary) :

- To Lead SCM Merchandising Team comprising of ASMs / Sr. Category In charge / Planning In charge.

- To implement planned Supply Chain Management (SCM) Operations by assuring timely and accurate supply of goods and materials from our plants and outside vendors as per the request of the Retail Stores.

- To provide direction and leadership to the merchandising and planning staff to maintain perfect balance between sales, Overall inventory and forecast accuracy.

Key Roles and Responsibilities :

Financial :

- Responsible for rotating inventory to minimize percentage of old stock in overall inventory.

- Regular monitoring of article in terms of sale through and to liquidate slow moving.

- Responsible for minimizing Costs of lost sales and stocks outs.

- Increase Net Realization by improving product mix and price increase.

Customer Oriented :

- Responsible for maintaining perfect product mix and product design.

- Regular monitoring of Stock outs and seasonality wise revision on inventory norms.

- Location wise product mix segregation in terms of geographical conditions & purchasing power of end customer.

- Improve Product visibility by regular monitoring of visual merchandising.

People Oriented :

- Lead the ASMs / Sr. Category In charge / Planning In charge monitor their performance and undertake coaching, hiring and career development.

Internal Business Process

- Material planning and stock availability, new store opening.
