Job Description

Loan Syndications is responsible for syndicating the project finance and corporate loan transactions and raising loan financing from various lending segments viz. banks, NBFCs, FIs, IDFs and other institutional investors.

Loan Syndications works closely with the Project Finance Group, Corporate Banking Group and Small & Medium Enterprise Group to structure and price loans to match market appetite, and is responsible for developing investor appetite for lending to borrowers in the corporate segment.

Core Role:

Managing and leading project syndication/co-financing through all phases of the project cycle

Structuring and negotiating terms acceptable to market partners

Preparation of information memorandums for syndication

Managing relationships with banks & various FIs and ensuring productive interaction with key officials across hierarchy levels.

Building and maintaining investor appetite database

Desired Skills and Experience:

Ability to work independently on various debt and corporate finance engagements with support/ guidance from team leader/sector head

Fair understanding of financial modelling, writing reports like Information Memorandum and preparing presentations

Ability to independently interact with clients and manage and deliver on the engagements

Good understanding of debt concepts including terms, covenants, structures, options, documentation, negotiations, market trends, etc

Ability to communicate effectively with, and influence senior bank officials and have strong relationship skills

Good at preparation of detailed Information Memorandums, other Reports, presentations and other documents relating to debt and other corporate finance engagements.

Industry- Bank/NBFC/Credit Rating Agencies covering financial sector/BFSI.

Salary: 8-14 LPA

Location- Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Chennai, Jaipur, Ludhiana, Vizag

Educational Qualification- Graduate/MBA

Preferred (MBA from Tier I, Tier II)
