Relationship Manager - Corporate & Institutional Banking (2-5 yrs)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Role Accountability:

- Ownership of business development as per agreed plans

- Coverage of clients with revenues in excess of Rs.1,000 Crores

- Initiate, manage & deepen client engagement

- Ensure delivery of banking solutions in collaboration with other parts of the bank

- Maintain / enhance credit quality in the portfolio managed

- Mentoring of assistant relationship managers and analysts

- Franchise & brand building activities

- Measurement

- Growth in revenues

- Build-up of assets, contingents, and liabilities

- Expansion of client base

- Cross sell results

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENT: Post Graduation

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:

- 2-5 Years in similar role in investment / corporate banking with top organizations

TECHNICAL SKILLS PREFERRED:

Knowledge:

- Client business including working capital cycle and growth requirements

- Risk (credit / investment, operational, others) identification, mitigation and management

- Deal structuring

- Banking products and procedures

- Documentation

Skills:

- Track record of (i) business development and identification of potential clients, and (ii) significant achievements

- Existing relationships with bankable clients

- Credit writing skills with comprehensive coverage of all risk related issues

- Excellent communication skills - verbal, and written (including report writing, presentations, etc)

BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS PREFERRED:

- Attitude

- Problem solving and resolving conflicts

- Keenness to learn and detail oriented

- Team player but also capable of taking individual decisions
