Company - The Arvind Mills  Industry - Apparel Retail/Fabric Retail/Footwear  Job Title – Regional Sales Manager (Ahmedabad/ Mumbai & Bangalore)  Experience: As a Area Sales Manager of 4-5 Years or as a Regional Manager of 2-3 Years.  MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES   SALES ACHIEVEMENTS AGAINST SET TARGETS:  - Prepare and participate in the preparation of sales budgets for discussion with the Dept Head  - Space planning in stores according to budget setting  - Conduct forward planning to exploit any opportunities  INVENTORY MANAGEMENT AND STOCK DISTRIBUTION  - Review and analyze stock and sales reports monitoring over- and under stocks, implementing corrective action to be taken  - Review and effectively deal with fast / slow lines, new ranges and end of ranges and implement necessary action  - Pricing of merchandise as per norms and matrix format  - Verification and implementation of price revisions.  - Supplier reviews after 45 days  - Monthly feedback on all aspects of:   - Sales performance  - Stock positions  - Special events & promotions  - Product feedback -quality, style, colors, quantities, price etc.  MANAGE FINANCIAL INDICATORS   - Implement correct procedures to return stock to the sales floor, warehouse, manufacturer or other stores also in regard to damages and soiled products  - Minimize shrinkage in line with targets   - Overseeing implementation of company policy and procedure in stores  - Ensure management of expenses and wasteful practices  - Implementation to Health & Safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment  TRADING CALENDAR & SEASONAL PLANNING  - Plan and execute annual event calendar  - Stock levels sufficient for major events  - Ensure all store sales, promotions are planned effectively, executed and promptly and maintained professionally  - Conduct SWOT review to analyze the customer profile  - Providing monthly feedback on competitor and event activities  PERSONNEL DEVELOPMENT  - To direct and guide all store managers  - Identify and recommend staff for succession planning  - Assist in the selection and recruitment process  - Completion of annual staff reviews  - Ensure all disciplinary procedures and staff movements are dealt with correctly  - Creation of an environment which conducive to a high store morale  KEY JOB DELIVERABLES / ACCOUNTABILITIES  Profit - Break even at stores / Margin earned on Departmental budgets / Net profit for territory  - Achievement of Sales target  - Inventory control - management of ageing / meeting of buying budget  - Pricing  - Timely execution of Renovations / projects.  - Ensuring timely execution of seasonal event calendar.  - Management of human resources in the stores / reporting to him.
