Regional Sales Manager - Medical Devices (8-18 yrs)

Reporting to: Business Unit Head

PURPOSE + SCOPE:

Work in line with corporate, regional and/or country sales strategies to plan, schedule and execute sales tactics in securing product positioning, market penetration, training, and forecasting against market and sales plans.

Reference marketing intelligence and research to properly strategize with sales team to capture and broaden market share.

Aid the achievement of customer satisfaction and business growth through focused business planning and people management.

Job responsibilities:

Overall responsibility of Intervention System business in the region vis a vis:

- Exceeding financial targets in sales and OPEX

- Training and development of staff

- Efficiency of Proposals and Financial Indicators

- Business Growth in Key Maintenance and Development Accounts.

- Customer Satisfaction.

- Report compliance

- Procedure/Process compliance

Academic background:

- Graduate in Engineering/Science/Commerce

- Post-graduation in business management will be an added advantage

Work experience:

- 12-16 years of sales experience in Medical Devices. Cardiology/ Intervention experience will be an added advantage.

- Team Handling-2-3 years

- 2-4 years commission sales based experience with strong feature and benefit, objection handling, key account management skills. Sales management and/or medical device background preferred

- Market development skills: develop programs for sales rep. and customers to develop new technology sales and acceptance.

- Strategic thinking

- Ability to manage franchise related OPEX according to plan

Qualities:

- Strong demonstration of leadership skills related and/or unrelated to career (clubs, sports, organizations).

- Team Player

- Ability to lead and work with others who are different than themselves (Cultural sensitivity in an international environment)

- Results oriented

- Able to work independently and take responsibility for actions

- Self-motivated – Motivating and inspiring others

- Willing and able to travel extensively as required by workload
