- Our client is a very large and well-known brand in the consumer durables space, with a strong foothold in India and a presence in 30+ countries. A vast range of products under their portfolio range across home electricals, power solutions and renewable energy solutions.
- To manage the growth and potential of one of their newest business lines, they are looking for a Regional Sales Manager for the South region, based out of Bangalore.
Job Description :
- This is a potential leadership role reporting in to the Head of Sales. The incumbent would look after the entire home electricals line of business for the organisation, for the South region. Driving a relatively new vertical, he/she would be responsible for crafting the long-term business strategy, GTM and sales and distribution for the business line.
- This is also a people management role and there would be a team of territory managers and ASMs reporting in to this role. The incumbent is responsible for building a strong leadership pipeline, grow the team and business together.
Profile :
- We're looking for someone who comes with 10+ years of relevant experience with a strong channel sales and distribution background in the consumer durables industry, and more importantly from a leadership and strategy background. This is a high exposure and potential leadership role and therefore the person would be able to come up with long term strategies. Exposure to new product development and category launches is ideal.
- An MBA is a must, as is numerical, analytical and communication skills.
