Position (Designation): Regional Sales Commercial Finance Manager

Dept/Division: Sales

Grade: Manager

Location: West Region, Mumbai

Must Have:

1. CA First Attempt 2010, 2011, 2012 batch only

2. Strong Experience in Commercial Sales Finance

Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this role is to drive excellence in commercial compliance Sales division as well as establishing and ensuring financial and commercial controls continuously for best in class improvements

Qualification & Experience

Qualifications: CA- 1st Attempt, B. Com

Age: 26-30 year

Experience: 3-4 years (CA - Chartered Accountant 2011-12 Batch)

Key Deliverables of the Role:

- Manage depot staff & CFA to ensure smooth operations of depot

- Prepare region budgets, track the deviation, if any

- Ensuring regional compliances including RO, distributor and depots through maintenance of proper documentation, ensuring SOPs, statutory compliances and company policies

- Advising RSH/ DH on aptly to ensure commercial hygiene in various activities of the region

- Driving commercial controls by facilitating internal and external audits, proactively identifying gaps and driving closures

- Ideating and executive process improvement and cost saving projects

- Appointing and reviewing performance of CFA- Carrying and Forwarding Agent

- Reviewing and approving new distributor appointment proposals

- Manage system related support for SAP, distributor software system (MIDAS) in the regions and drive IT improvement projects

Functional Competencies:

- Business and Commercial acumen with focus on controls & policies

- Financial acumen

Domain knowledge (must have proficiency in modules of SAP etc.):

- Expertise in tax areas like Sales tax, service tax etc

Behavioral Competencies:

- Negotiation skills

- Networking and Influencing skills

- Team Management

Reporting Relationships

- Upwards: Divisional Head (Direct) and Head-Commercial (Functional)

Downwards:

- Regional accounts executive, Regional accounts officer, Regional system officer

Other Key Functional Interfaces:

- Divisional Sales HR Manager, Sales Commercial Manager, Regional Sales Head, Area Sales Manager

- Depot and distributor personnel

- Independent handling of commercial operations in the region

- Drive the GRC & transformation journey in the region

- The role holder can move to various roles in Finance function of Cos like Sales/Manufacturing commercial role, Business Finance, Corporate Finance in India & International business
