JOB DESCRIPTION:-
Market Focus & Strategy:
- Understand market dynamics & & be informed about market trends.
- Be aware about the product categories of the competitors.
- Present strategy for the region/store wise with holistic & long term perspective.
- Proactively present the ideas for business growth.
Planning:
- Finalize top line budget in advance - seasonal top line, store & category level.
- Provide inputs, complete analysis & trends for the region to corporate planning team.
- Influence the category development. & identify opportunities for planning team buyers.
- Ensure effective execution of Events / Promotions.
- Loss prevention and shrinkage control.
Product & Store Performance:
- Achieve committed budget top line, bottom line & KPI for the cluster.
- Ensure every store has core 80% filled up as per the store fixture capacity.
- Ensure relevant product in the cluster as per the demographic profiling.
- Drive Sales, productivity & control cost for the cluster.
- Analyze performance of the store & monitor stocks on the weekly basis.
- Provide an input to RDC- S during productivity issues & gives heads up on expected sales.
- Clear strategy for liquidation of leftover stock within the cluster in a cost effective manner.
- Review financial reports.
- Review & approve the marketing calendar for each store.
- Monitor ongoing promotions/events, assign returns, expectation & cost benefit.
- Ensure that department SOP's are followed identify & close gaps.
- Audit Performance & sign off & track audit results.
- People Management:
- Development and training of store team.
- Motivation and Counseling.
- Settings KRA for the team and ensure support to achieve it.
- Improve productivity through proper manpower allocation.
- Improve Employee Satisfaction.
Customer Service & Delight
- Ensure full safety and security measures at the store. responding to customer complaints and comments; organizing special promotions, displays and events;
- Updating colleagues on business performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues;
- Touring the sales floor regularly, talking to colleagues and customers, and identifying or resolving urgent issues;
- Maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing;
