Eye Q is looking to recruit a Regional Finance Manager to drive their financial & commercial operations.

Eye Q was founded in 2007 by a leading Ophthalmologist in India - Dr Ajay Sharma & Ex Director Bausch & Lomb - Mr. Rajat Goel (from IIM A).Expanding on a tremendous scale with 35 hospitals and a plan to add 10 more hospitals in the next FY, the company is funded by leading VC funds and IFC being one of them.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the role of Regional Finance Manager will be responsible for managing financial & commercial operations for the region of UP & Uttrakhand (12+ hospitals). In this role you will be managing a team of 12-15 finance executives and driving communications with other stakeholders, including the senior leadership, across Eye Q. As Eye Q expands their reach across the country, your responsibilities and impact in this role are also set to grow. They want you to be part of this impact story.

An ideal candidate would be a CA/MBA graduate with 4-8 years of finance experience, who has independently handled financial operations for a company/region.

Salary range based on previous experience and subject to customary increases on joining.

Role will require 7-10 days of travel across UP & Uttrakhand per month

Detailed Responsibilities:

- Managing the day to day financial operations for hospitals in the region - location expense tally, purchase records, hospital discount records and reconciliation, revenue reconciliations

- Managing the month end activities which include closing of sub ledgers, general ledger account reconciliations, reporting and balance sheet account analysis, stock reconciliation, auditing

- Management and implementation of internal control systems, processes, policies and procedures for the accounting, procurement and finance functions. Highlight any discrepancy and suggest ways to avoid gaps in the future

- Handling all taxation matters Income Tax, VAT, Service Tax, tax management, working capital management, planning and ensuring statutory compliances.

- Revenue and expense accounting, approval of payments accounts receivable, accounts payable, petty cash management, maintaining statutory books of accounts

- Responsible for managing and mentoring a team while overseeing all accounting and tax functions

Does this sound like you-

1. Extensive financial operations experience and business skills:

- 4 to 6 years of operation finance experience

- CA / MBA - Finance graduate

- Independently handled finalization of accounts in India

- Strong business judgement and analytical ability

2. Experience managing a team of finance professionals and multiple stakeholders:

- Attentive to details and with demonstrated capacity to manage a team

- Strong managerial skills; Ability to multi task, think strategically and prioritize activities and opportunities based upon reward and risk, cost and benefit.

- Ability to negotiate issues and resolve problems.

- Personable and able to connect with stakeholders and understand needs.

- Excellent organization, writing and oral communication/presentation skills.
