Regional Finance Manager - CA - FMCG (7-10 yrs)
Excellent position open with worlds leading FMCG company for Regional Finance Manager position. Prefering CA Rank holders or MBA Tier 1 passouts only.

Business Partnering
- Ensure delivery of CD Infrastructure for delivering growth vision for the region including Customer ROI within acceptable 20-30 band
- Deliver UVG through effective Business Partnering in region - Leadership role on delivery KPIs of nominated Big Leap CD Finance Projects across the country & Supporting CD Initiatives (ongoing)
- Manage costs efficiently in all spheres of Branch operations with a very strong emphasis on budgetary compliance and controls across all branch spends including driving reduction of wasteful indirects
- Robust analytics to steer action within the branch and sharing best practices across regions
- Mitigate losses arising due to business waste by designing appropriate intervention mechanisms and highlighting at appropriate forums
- Co-partner the supply chain colleagues on determining the - cost to serve- various customers/channels and establishing the cost-service tradeoffs
Customer Service
- Support the Customer Centricity program efficient claims settlement, appropriate customer accounting and effective query handling.
- Evaluate and identify (jointly with HO Treasury) funding options / channel finance to enable access to cost effective funds for growth for channel partners
- Participate in customer engagement meetings and address issues on finance related backend processes
- Responsible for effective administration of segmented Terms of Trade for the distributors.
- Earning the Customer License every year and ensure customer gate for all key initiatives
Process Excellence
- As a member of the Regional Leadership Team, drive excellence in financial processes / hygiene in the front end
- Understanding CD and its dynamics to check for improvement areas and driving this in the RLTs irrespective of functional area
Controls & Compliances
- Ensure adequacy of controls as well as system/SOP compliance in the front end particularly depot operations
- Administer VAT/Sales Tax matters of the region - assessments, audits, Documentation Management Policy, appeals etc., liaising with Sales Tax Department, Units, Branch and HO Legal
- Drive and sustain high quality hygiene in financial accounting
- Provide effective MIS to CD, Profit Centers and the Controllers
- Put in place enabling systems that seek to de-risk the business in the event of a new/radical system change
People Management
- Provide training & development inputs to the Branch finance team
- Actively lead capability building in the realm of Finance
- Develop appreciation of finance and commercial processes for CD colleagues within the branch thro- development and training initiatives
