About our Client : Our client is the top provider of entertainment information, creating industry-leading databases of TV, movie, and music metadata for entertainment guides, applications and in car entertainment. Currently looking for Regional Controller for Asia Pacific & Middle East

Job Description - Reporting to the Regional CFO and US Headquarters, your responsibilities will include :

- Oversee and manage the monthly, quarterly and annual accounting close processes and consolidation relating to regional facilities (domestic and international) to produce accurate and timely financial statements and deliver regular cost forecasts and variance analyses.

- Establish control process for managing all expenditures.

- Develop annual budgets and capital budget plans.

- Manage - Overseas Subsidiary / Branch Operation and India Branch Operation.

- Partner with regional and site leadership to influence financial and operational productivity and mitigate risks.

- Build out new and improve existing finance processes to ensure data integrity and efficient analyses.

- Provide financial analysis to prioritize and lead cost reduction efforts through the development of financial models and evaluate saving initiatives.

- Analyze trends, formulate projections, and variance analysis; Provide fact-based insights into variances and trends.

- Assist in developing monthly/quarterly financial reporting (actual and forecast) and annual budgeting.

- Educate, communicate and partner with local business leadership and with HO.

- Prepare financial (including SEC) reporting, senior management and operating units of the company.

- Establish and maintain policies and procedures for proper accounting and financial operations. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

- Develop relationship with business leaders in the organization.

- Manage annual audit and ongoing relationship with the Company's external auditors.

- Perform various analyses and ad hoc projects as directed by the CFO

- Work cross functionally with Financial Leadership to help prepare the business for growth.

The Successful Candidate :

- You are a Chartered Accountant / CPA with 10 - 15 years of progressive experience including Manager level experience. Prior experience with Big 4 and/or leading internal audit or accounting of $500M+ global business.

- Excellent knowledge of General Accounting including Financial Planning & Analysis and Financial Reporting. Experience building, managing teams and improving processes.

- Experience integrating the accounting systems/operations of acquisitions.

- Strong SEC and internal audit/SOX experience. Experience working in international US-multinational Company a plus.

- Experience integrating M&A activity. Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to present to senior management, Board or outside partners.
