Opening for Regional Sales Managers

Primary responsibilities:

(a) Planning & executing Sales Campaigns so as to achieve sales targets and objectives through his sales team of Area Managers and Sales Representatives

(b) Developing the skills of the sales team, smoothly implementing changes if any, consulting and collaborating with key stake holders like Marketing, Operations & proactively reviewing the outcomes of the sales team's efforts

(c) Improve on the sales process to ensure growth and increased market share. Constant evaluation of each and every sales campaign to see the impact; if new opportunities are available, seek referrals from happy customers, and foresee what can be done better for the next time

2. Drive Sales Excellence initiatives through on job ABM coaching & development, ensuring sales team KPI's (Callage, Coverage and Execution) and rewarding; encouraging performers as well as taking necessary action on under performers. Analyse &; plan to maximize the efficiency of the sales team

3. Define Sales Targets for the sales team and are also accountable for periodic projected sales forecast which is measured in terms of forecasting accuracy

4. Ensure regular customer visits along with sales team & build a base of Key opinion leaders - Nurture / sustain relationship with these identified Key Opinion Leaders

5. Ensure compliance to Bayer policies including Corporate; Reporting Compliance

6. Ensure administrative responsibilities are effectively carried out - especially in areas where it impacts regions financial performance. Ex : Scrutinize & control expenses related to Office, Travel and Promotional Activities

7. Refresh and maintain Product and Therapeutic segment knowledge

8. Effective management of distribution channel management, Distributors and responsibility towards hygiene parameters like collections, stock rotations, claim management and Tax related issues like C/F forms, Octroi, etc.

Qualifications:

- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Science, Pharmacy or Commerce

- Bachelor or Master Degree in Marketing will be an added advantage.

- At least 6-8 years of experience in FMCG / OTC /Healthcare companies of which minimum 2 years are in a Supervisory role
