Regional/Area Manager - Operations - Retail

Urgently looking for Area Manager-Operations for a leading retail company.

Job Responsibilities:

- Business planning to deliver Top line growth for the region.

- Responsible for managing the area/regional P&L.

- Drive retail/space productivity for the region.

- Store specific productivity driving programs & interventions - in the areas of merchandise mix correction, display, selling capability, consumer handling, etc. with an end objective to drive sell through

- Build capability in the store / at SBU for subsequent similar interventions - the store staff and the Sales team servicing the store for sustainability.

- Responsible for Store Customer Experience and Store Sales Performance through managing both Store Operational Excellence and Store Commercial Drive of assigned Stores.

- Lead cross-functional teams to plan and execute area/regional marketing initiatives.

- Recommends/Suggests in-store mini-refits, changes to fixtures, as per the requirement and the demands of the ongoing business.

Desired Profile:

- Should be MBA.

- Candidate from Food Retailing, preferred from Hypermarket.

- Should have managed business value ranging between 300 to 400 crores.

- Should be excellent in managing team and people development.
