We have an Urgent Requirement for “Regional Accountant” a leading FMCG Industry for Chennai  Please find below the Job Details:   Position : Regional Accountant   Location : Chennai  Reporting to : Commercial Manager  Required Experience Level : 2-4 yrs (Any Manufacturing Industry Preferred).   Required Education Qualification: CA OR Full Time MBA (Finance)  Role and responsibilities:   - Maintenance of day to day accounting activities   - Monthly preparation of bank reconciliation statements.  - Maintaining cash book & updating & booking of day-to-day cash transactions.  - Processing of Distributor claims through minet and SAP & issuing credit notes for the same after thorough checking the supporting & schemes.  - Proper checking of Leakage & Damages of products claimed by the distributors and issuing credit notes for the same.  - Processing & payment of TDS & Service Tax & also issuing TDS certificate against all the vendors on yearly basis.  - Monthly checking the supporting & freight charges of all transporter bills, C&F expenses, travelling expenses of officers, executives & managers of the entire region , booking the entries in SAP and making the payment for the same.  - Coordination with sales dept and other departments for settlement of any issues related to operations requirements.  - Analysis of various types of data on monthly basis.  - Verification of data-entry in SAP on monthly basis and correction of errors, if any and ensure proper filing of all kinds of vouchers.  - Monthly scrutinizing of all the G/L a/cs in SAP.  - Raising debit/credit notes to the suppliers.  - Monthly closing of accounts and reporting to superior.  - Ensure proper deduction of TDS, keeping TDS records and preparation of monthly summary sheets (MIS) and reporting the same to the superior.  - Follow-ups with distributors for collection of NOC.  - Good working knowledge of VAT.  - Raising & resetting of credit limits of the distributor’s on day to day basis after checking the outstanding amount & allowed for the billing.  - Checking of all the bills of Hotel exp, purchasing of any gifts to distributors .etc & making the payments to all the respective vendors on monthly basis.  - Making the data as required by the superior on time to time basis.  - Maintaining & proper tracking of all the Bank Guarantee of the distributor.  - Monthly provision of CFA expense & Field Force expense.  - Monthly provision of VAT claims.  - Proper tracking of all the cheque bounce’s during the month.  If you are having same kind of experience & ready to relocate then please send your updated CV OR call on-08696927112
