Regal Feast - Chief Technology Officer

Regal Feast is an incredibly disruptive technology startup. We are a bootstrapped company and based in Gurgaon.

We are seeking a Chief Technical Offficer to join our team and help envision and execute the technical roadmap. You will work from our South Extension or Gurgaon office and report directly to the Founder & CEO.

The Chief Technology Officer's role is to assure the successful execution of the company's business mission through development and deployment of the company's web presence. This requires envisioning the company's service offerings as a web-based business, leading implementation of web applications, understanding supply chain management along with hands on operational management, and planning for risk and growth.

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) reports to the CEO or board and is responsible the company's technology strategy and implementation. As a technology leader, the CTO needs to be able to see IT at macro and micro levels simultaneously within the company, together with understanding of a web-based business environment. The role also requires you to build a stellar team under you.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assess current state/future state needs for people, process, product and technologies

- Take full ownership of technology stack: iOS/Android mobile apps, back-end (Parse), web services and websites.

- Define and execute the product roadmap

- Manage cross-platform data syncing

- Competent with implementing, managing and improving accounting systems with real money

- Architect requirements and best practices to manage data repository, ensuring complete, quality and accessible information; identify data analysis and mining methods to harness insights from images

- Maintain and monitor systems and security

- Define KPIs and metrics for performance reporting; improve current capabilities

- Define staffing needs and lead tech hiring efforts

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

- 5+ years of experience in software design and development

- 3+ year of iOS development, ideally with Android and web experience (Objective-C, PHP, javascript)

- Deployed at least two consumer app in the iOS store, Google Play Store, or both

- Strong intuition for UX and making engaging product experiences

- Experience with building and leading high-performance tech teams

- Experience with information management and data analytics

- Technologist who is independent, self-motivated, and like to have fun

- BS/MS in Computer Science or similar (or enough killer hands-on experience that you- ve earned the degree, pragmatically speaking!)
