Engagement Managers typically own end-to-end delivery of a single project with multiple work streams. They also lead a team of analysts for conducting primary and secondary research in order to gather relevant information. EMs form an integral part to RedSeer's growth.
They play a major role in developing the firm by contributing to culture development, hiring, training and new business development. As a Manager, you will be involved in end-to-end client projects. This will include scoping, planning, and delivery of one or more work streams.
You will also be responsible for business development and expanding RedSeer's presence in your identified service area. Creating sales collateral, generating leads and following through with clients to convert leads into sales will comprise an important part of your day-to-day job.
RedSeer's flat organizational structure and entrepreneurial spirit provides EMs with the ideal environment to develop their skills in client and project management. EMs grow very quickly maturing into domain experts and thought leaders within a short span of time.
Requirements :
- Undergraduate in engineering / management from a top-tier institute with a strong academic background, with 4-5 years of experience in management consulting
- Distinctive problem-solving, strategic and analytical capabilities
- Excellent time-management and organization skills
- Exposure to core-consulting skills (presentation skills and client management skills)
- Experience at drawing insights from data
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills conducive to people management and team development
- Ability to manage multiple projects and lead a team
- Driven/Motivated about working in an entrepreneurial setup
Responsibilities :
- Scoping engagements, managing stakeholders, coaching team-members and ensuring timeliness and quality of deliverables
- Managing client requirements and expectations on different aspects of a project
- Driving clarity of thoughts amidst ambiguous situations
- Active business development and account farming for generating more business
- Conducting primary and secondary research and developing strategic analysis studies
- Managing a team of analysts to deliver end-to-end research and consulting projects
- Presenting insights and conclusions from different studies confidently and meaningfully to senior clients (in-person or over conferencing)
- Authoring sales collateral and creating thought leadership whitepapers
- Contributing in hiring and administrative processes for RedSeer
