External : Logistic Partners (transport & warehousing), customers (Distributors, MT & direct), local statutory bodies, fleet management company, cooler repair agency

Purpose of the Job : Manage all aspects of operations for the region

Key Responsibilities :

Develop & roll out robust supply chain network in the region to support unprecedented growth. Handle operations of 3PL managed multiple Distribution Centers in multiple states.

Ensure 3PL adherence to RB SOP & KPI achievement.

Responsible for Supply, Distribution, Reverse logistics of FG & POSM to multiple distributors.

Conduct regular audits.

Maintain all costs within planned budget for the year.

Route mapping & Milk route planning.

Achieve 100% fill rate. Order fulfillment in stipulated lead & transit times.

Establish a strong network of vendors to support supply chain.

Coordinate with warehouse team, transporter, DP's for successful delivery.

Demand planning for the region with inventory management in available space.

Zero stock out for any SKU.

Damage destruction & reco.

Work with regional team to build accurate forecasts for the region.

Coordinate with regional teams for nil expiry, minimize non-moving inventory.

Maintain inventory accuracy, pilferage & damages within set limits.

Coordinate logistics for all events with tool planning, delivery schedules, installation & pickup.

Provide logistical services to marketing cells.

Event tool maintenance, upkeep & repairs.

Process customer claims for damages & secondary transportation.

Compliance of 3PL & RB to statutory laws.

Coordinate with FSSAI for licenses & other compliance.

Conduct training session for 3PL teams.

Help purchase specialist to manage local sourcing in the region.

Manage employee functional car fleet in the region.

Appoint vendors in the region to carry out all logistical services.

All invoice processing.

Drive monthly S&OP meeting in region highlighting key points affecting business.

Coordinate cooler repairs in the region with the agency. Spare part management.

Implement fraud containment/control measures across the chain.

Initiate & be part of efficiency projects of the company.

Conduct regular customer visits in the region, take feedback, provide knowledge to the customer about product storage/handling.

MIS reports.

Education and Qualifications :

University Degree (Engineering, Business Administration, etc.). Specialized qualifications in Logistics / Supply Chain Management will be valuable.

Experience :

1. A least 5 years of previous work experience in Logistics / Supply Chain, ideally in an FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) environment or F&B company in a regional role.

2. The experience of working within an international supply chain in a group context.

3. Deep experience managing warehousing, logistics, and transportation processes within a 3PL environment.

Knowledge and Skills :

1. Leadership, Motivation, Innovation and Team Skills

2. Fluent in written and spoken English.

3. Ability to develop strategies for increasing distribution strength.

4. Exposure to Customer Relationship Management within a client facing division of an organization.

5. Deep working knowledge of SAP R/3 is a strong plus. Good skills on all MS products such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are a must

6. Hands on a guy who also has the passion for details.

7. Is experienced in project management.
