We at RB are looking for a Logistics Lead for South Region. Regional Logistics Manager or RLM is responsible for warehousing, secondary transportation and customer service for the assigned region. The role holder has close interaction with the Supply, Sales team and finance teams internally. Externally, s/he interacts with the CFAs/3PLs, transporters and distributors.  - Number of warehouses(6),  - Transporters (14),   - Distributors (340+),  - CFA team ( 100+)   Responsibilities :   - Drive Safety, quality and compliance at the DCs   - Responsible for warehousing operations, secondary freight, cost management and contract negotiations in coordination with regional commercial team  - Achieve agreed customer service levels for TT, MT and CSD channels  - Prepare warehousing and secondary transportation budgets in coordination with corporate team  - Implement SOPs and put controls in place to ensure compliances  - Track slow moving inventory and liaise with demand planning, sales and marketing for liquidation  - Drive projects to improve customer service, optimise warehousing and secondary freight costs.  - Motivate warehousing team to achieve agreed level of customer service   Professional Attributes :   Qualification : BE/ B Tech or equivalent with solid logistics experience. MBA preferred but not mandatory    Experience :   - 4-6 years of experience for MBA candidates from premier institutes  - 8+ years of logistics experience for others  - Logistics skills - In depth experience in managing warehousing operations, secondary transportation and customer service   - Project management expertise   Personal Attributes :   - Achievement focused and able to work in a direct and often pressurized environment.   - Entrepreneurial skills in terms of innovation and problem solving   - Ability to influence and build relationships with key regional stakeholders(sales, finance)  - Perseverance, tough-mindedness and ability to influence   - Demonstrates strong team working abilities and commitment   - Commercial awareness - Understands the impact of Supply decisions on business profitability   - Strong track record of delivery   - Excellent analytical and communication skills   About RB :   RB is different : Good enough isn't good enough here.   RB is the world's leading consumer health and hygiene company.
